Hello!
I am Adelana Martínez
I was born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and grew up in the beautiful streets of the Don Bosco neighborhood in the capital of my country.
At the age of 19, I moved to the United States with my mother. I lived in New York, where I perfected my English and began college. Later, I moved to Miami, where I started my financial career working at a bank.
Fifteen years ago, I arrived in the Queen City. Here, I found the opportunity for a fresh start. I completed my studies and earned my BS in Criminal Justice, with a focus on fraud investigation for banking institutions, and worked in the mortgage department at Bank of America.
I am certified as a tax preparer and have been practicing for seven years.
This job has allowed me to grow professionally. I prepare personal tax returns, but I specialize in business taxes—advising my clients not only with their annual filings but also with company formation and registration, and the proper management of their books and accounting records.
I love teaching clients how valuable it is to keep their accounts in order. Taxes aren’t bad; by learning and organizing expenses, we can demonstrate why they are necessary for the business and possibly even find credits to reduce tax liability.
For me, it’s super cool to see where your money goes. Financial education and organization are the keys to living with peace of mind when it comes to money. This is something a professional can provide by keeping your bookkeeping in order—and if that person also has tax knowledge, even better and easier.
Charlotte has given me the opportunity to buy my home, watch my son grow up, and now expand my professional services through my own company.
I’m here to work together and serve you.
